Hello, My name is Katie and I have spent my childhood and now adulthood in the kitchen.
It's the perfect way to relax, unwind and step away from the monotonous 9 to 5 (well, 8:30 to 6...if i'm honest) life that I currently live.
In June 2013 myself and my sister went to the very first Bakewell Baking Festival and since then my knead (see what I did there) to bake has only increased.
For many years I have consistently baked the same things again and again and so the plan is to increase my repertoire! I'm stepping forward into the potentially terrifying and disappointing world of 'baking fails' but hopefully the joy of creating beautiful and delicious treats!
